What we do

The Egyptian Kennel Federation EKF is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Egypt. EKF is dedicated to encouraging, guiding, and advancing the interests of purebred dogs and their responsible owners and breeders in Egypt and promoting the knowledge and understanding of the benefits which dogs can bring to the Egyptian society.
The EKF’s goal is to register purebred dogs, regulates dog shows and performance events, and speaks out on major issues concerning dog ownership and the health & welfare of dogs across Egypt.
The Egyptian Kennel Federation provides registry services for all officially recognized breeds of purebred dogs, provides governance for all EKF approved shows, trials and events. Finally, the EKF is a communication organization informing all people interested in dogs.

  • The EKF is prohibiting and totally against shooting street dogs in order to street dogs fighting and believes in spaying and neutering dogs are the best processes for fighting street dogs.
  • The EKF is prohibiting and totally against dogs fighting and considers people involved in such activities should be judged for these crimes, EKF announces that any related will be proven his/her involving in such activities will be banned.
